Oohkk
Oohkk is where you post what we shouldn't forget, react, tip other players, and use apps and games (Miyayu, Marketplace, Dating and more), all in your browser.
Oohkk used to be called Ohh (and before that, Ohh Uganda). It's the same service, run by the same people: your account, posts, comments, karma, Chapters and tips are exactly as they were, and accepting these terms before the new name still counts.
Games
Miyayu False Prophets, a game on Oohkk, is satire. Its villains (prophets, officials and businesses) are fictional and do not represent real people, churches, companies or faiths. Real public figures appear only as heroes.
Your account
- Anyone can read Don't Forget. Apps and games, saved runs, the Rank board, Chapters, posting, tipping and advertising need a free account.
- When you sign up you give a Mobile Money number (MTN or Airtel Uganda) in your own name. Tips you convert to cash are paid only to that number.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Your username is public and appears on the Rank board. Usernames that are offensive or impersonate someone may be renamed or removed.
- One person, one account. Don't share or sell accounts.
Fair play
Cheating, changing the game's code or data, using bots, or exploiting bugs to get Chapters or ranks is not allowed. We may remove runs, reset Chapters, hide accounts from the Rank board, or suspend accounts that cheat.
Chapters
- Chapters are Oohkk's currency. You can buy them with Mobile Money (UGX 10 buys 1 Chapter, plus a Mobile Money fee shown before you pay). Games don't pay Chapters.
- You can spend Chapters in games and apps (for example Marketplace Bumps, Dating requests) and tip them to other users. Bought Chapters can't be exchanged for money.
- Purchases are not refundable except where these terms say so or the law requires. Chapters are not a bank account or savings, and we don't pay interest.
Don't Forget posts
- Posts are public and show your username. Every post has a heading and a body. Post only about public matters and events.
- Don't post private people's names, phone numbers, addresses or photos; accusations without proof; insults, hate or threats; sexual content; spam; or anything illegal.
- Posts can have photos. The first two photos on a post are free; more cost Chapters (the price is shown before you post). Photos are re-saved without location or camera details. Don't post photos of private people or children.
- You keep ownership of what you post, and you allow us to show it on Oohkk and in shared images and previews of it.
- We may remove posts that break these rules or the law, hide posts that users report, and suspend accounts that keep breaking them.
Tips
- Tips are gifts of Chapters from one user to another for their posts or comments. Tips show in the post's comments. Nothing is bought or owed in return, and tips can't be taken back.
- Don't use tips to pay for goods or services, to move money for someone else, or for anything illegal. We may hold, reverse or cancel tips linked to fraud.
Converting tips to cash
- Only Chapters you received as tips can be converted to cash, at UGX 10 per Chapter, minus a fee shown before you convert (it includes the Mobile Money charge). Tips can be converted a few days after you receive them; the number of days is shown when you convert.
- Conversions start from 5,000 Chapters, and up to UGX 500,000 can be paid out per person per day.
- Money is paid only to the Mobile Money number on your account. You can change that number in Settings, with your password, once every 7 days. We email you when it changes.
- We may delay, check or refuse a conversion to prevent fraud or comply with the law, and may ask you to confirm your identity.
Marketplace
- Oohkk is not part of the sale. Buyers and sellers deal with each other directly (by WhatsApp, at the seller's verified number). We don't hold money, deliver items or guarantee that an item, a price or a person is genuine. Meet in a public place, check the item, and never pay a deposit before you've seen it.
- Selling needs a Seller pass: paid once by Mobile Money (the price is shown before you pay), from an account at least 7 days old, and from a number that isn't blocked. The pass is tied to that number. If staff turn down your first few listings before any is approved, you can ask for the pass price back (the number is shown in the app); otherwise the pass isn't refundable.
- Physical goods in Kampala only. Not allowed: weapons; drugs and medicines; alcohol and tobacco; animals; fake or replica brands; stolen goods; SIM cards; documents and IDs; adult content; anything illegal in Uganda. No phone numbers or links in listings.
- Staff check every listing before it goes live, and may reject or remove any listing. Bumps and Featured places are paid with Chapters and are not refundable once used.
- A seller found running a scam is banned: their pass ends with no refund, their listings come down, their number can never sell on Oohkk or join Dating again, and members who contacted them are warned (without naming them).
Dating
- For 18 and over only. You give your real birth date and gender, and take a live selfie in the app, which staff check. Anyone found to be under 18 is removed at once.
- You use a made-up handle, never your Oohkk username or real name. Other members don't see who you are, but your Dating profile belongs to your Oohkk account, and staff can see who is behind a handle to deal with reports, bans and requests from the police that the law requires us to answer.
- Never ask anyone for money, airtime or Mobile Money. No nude or sexual photos, ever. No harassment, threats, hate, spam, or pretending to be someone else. No phone numbers or social handles in posts or request notes. Breaking these gets you banned, and sexual photos or anything illegal may be reported to the police.
- Requests: reaching out to a post uses one request. You get some free (a welcome gift and a few every day); more can be bought with Chapters or Mobile Money. A request is used once you send it, whatever happens: accepted, declined, or not answered in time. Used requests are never given back. There is a daily limit on requests, paid or not.
- More a day raises your daily limit for a week or a month. It's only offered to members in good standing (shown in the Shop), it doesn't include requests, and it isn't refundable once it starts. It keeps running if you later stop meeting the conditions, unless you are banned.
- Photos swapped in a chat are only for the two of you, and are deleted after a set number of hours. Don't save, screenshot or share someone's photo; it is marked with your handle so a leak can be traced, and sharing one gets you banned.
- Meeting someone is your choice and your responsibility. We check that members are real people, but we can't promise anyone is who they say they are. Meet in a busy public place, tell a friend, and report anything wrong.
- We may hide, remove or ban posts, chats and members that break these rules. A banned member loses any requests and passes they have, with no refund.
Advertising
Ads must be lawful, truthful and decent, and must link to a safe website. Every ad is reviewed before it goes live, and we may reject or remove any ad.

We may update these terms and will show the new version on Oohkk.
